KEAS
Keas is the youngest section of the Scouting Movement. Shackleton Sea Keas is for boys and girls aged 5 and a half to 8 years old. We meet during term time on Wednesdays from 5.15pm-6.15pm. Weekly Kea activities are based around the Kea Promise: I share, I care, I discover, I grow and the Scout Law: Have Respect, Do What is Right and Be Positive. At Keas children can have fun, go on awesome adventures, have new experiences, play games and make lots of friends. Keas have the opportunity to earn badges by completing clauses of their award scheme at Keas and personal challenge badges at home. Each term Keas have the chance to attend Northland Zone events, with Keas from other Clubs, such as Founder’s Day, Kea Hike and Kea Day.
